How to run Winhotspot

Winhotspot is not a beta anymore from Version 1.0

This post  will help first timers to have a clear vision of what is winhotspot and how does it look like.

Winhotspot version 0.6.270

   Always download latest version of winhotspot

Please go to download page and download winhotspot version 0.6.270 .

Winhotspot has bandwidth meter
Winhotspot shows client IP and MAC address is displayed in second tab.

How to upgrade winhotspot

Hi,
Winhotspot is a stand alone application,
It does not have a installer,
You can search your C drive for winhotspot*.exe and you can delete application and download new version and use it.

Download major update Version 1.2

Hi all,

Please download the new updated Version 1.2.41 has fix of internet sharing.

Sorry guys, Internet sharing was broken from past few releases.

If you have installed connectify please uninstall and reboot first before trying any of the other WiFi hotspot softwares including winhotspot .


Note: I had installed connectify last week, It will modify and makes other softwares difficult to run.
After i uninstalled , It still did not work properly till i rebooted, So its a mandatory to reboot after uninstalling connectify.

Note:Winhotspot do not install any drivers, It only used framework provided by windows.
